Hello Spring! (A Poem)
No matter how many tears I shed
only happiness is all it brings;
with blooming daisies and daffodils
those thorns disappear in Spring.
Let shower wash it all away
and clear away my sin;
My doors are open for the butterflies
at-last my heart can sing.
Creating my own story
the sorrows will never win;
writing, while sipping coffee
my desk is where it all begins.
I cracked open my jukebox
with a mumbo jumbo ring;
the joy that I was looking for
is coming back in Spring.
